Logitech Z-2300 2.1 THX Z2300 Speakers

I had been debating for a very long time about which speakers to buy. After reading doing tonnes of research and reading countless reviews i decided fork out $150 for the Z-2300's

I had looked at several different brands: Logitech, Altec Lansing and Creative. I had good experience with Altec Lansing's but couldn't really find any speakers in the style i liked. Same goes for Creative. Having had good experience with Logitech products, and knowing there good reputation in speakers, I started narrowing down to a few choices. The X-540s, Z-4's and the Z-2300's (the Z-5500's were way out of budget)

For a long while i was almost set to buy the X-540's but i relised that 5.1 sound would be a waste as i couldn't possibly set them up in the room properly. It was down to the Z-4's and the Z-2300's. While both great sets of speakers I didn't like how the satellite speakers of the Z-4's had no covers. After listening to both I did notice quite a difference in quality between the two. So i forked out the extra $50 on the Z-2300's Probably the best money i have ever spent.

Pros:
- Fantastic sound quality
- Thumping Bass
- Handy remote with headphone jack
- comes with a RCA converter to plus it into a TV/DVD
- Feels very sturdy.

Cons:
- Surprisingly heavy (though not a big issue as the sub lives on the floor)
- A wireless remote would have been handy

For anyone who love there music, gaming or both these are well worth the money. And for you bass lovers there is more than enough pumping out of these babies. Highly recommended
