After giving the G15 "Refresh" a run for its money for several months i thought i would do a quick review.

Not having owned or really used the original G15 i can't really compare them.

I was looking for a keyboard for my new build that would match nicely with my new G5. This was the obvious choice. While I had the choice of going with the original G15 i went the newer, restyled one. Heres a quick summary of what i think of it

Pros:
- Great looking K/B (much better than the old one IMO)
- Orange Back lighting (I'm over blue)
- Quality feel
- G Keys
- Smaller than the previous one
- Windows key lock
- Screen

Cons
- Screen software is a bit limited. Has a lot of potential
- Less G keys (not an issue for me, though its worth a mention)
- Doesn't have thin keys like the Lycosa

When i was looking for a new keyboard it really come down to this or the Razer Lycosa. I chose this mainly because it is a great looking keyboard. and wanted something different to the somewhat standard blue lights. While at first I thought the LCD on the G15 was more of a gimmick, I'm really surprised how much i actually use it.

If you are looking for a Gaming Keyboard it is really hard to go past the G15 Refresh
