General Questions Q: Does your pricing include GST? A: Yes, all of our pricing already includes GST.
Q: Can I make my order via phone or email? A: No we only accept orders via our website, this lets all parties involved track the status of an order at all times.
Q: I have tried calling the landline phone number a few times and it either rings out, is engaged, or I get a FAX machine. A: We just keep getting busier and busier, sometimes we are so busy we just can't get to the phone. Try sending us an email.
Q: What are your payment methods? A: We currently accept Direct Deposit/Internet Transfer, MasterCard and Visa Card (3% surcharge applies). We DO NOT accept COD (Cash On Delivery).
Q: Does PC MANIACS price match their competitors? A: No, we do our best to keep our prices as low as possible while still maintaining the highest level of service possible. If you are solely shopping on price and care little for great service and convenience you may consider wasting half an hour in a line at a computer parts supermarket to save those few dollars we couldn't price match on. Sounds silly, but I see it all too often. :)
Delivery/Pick Up Questions Q: Can I pick up my order rather than having it shipped out? A: Yes, we allow pick up between 4PM and 6PM week days. At this time we are not allowing pick ups on weekends.
Q: I received an email stating that my order has been despatched but I haven't received it yet, what's going on? A: When your order is despatched you will be sent a status update email with tracking label info for you order. Also listed in this email is a website address for the respective courier (Fastway Couriers, Australian Air Express etc.). Using the tracking label at the couriers website you can track your orders delivery progress.
Q: I tried tracking my order at the couriers website but no records have been found for my label number. A: Sometimes Label numbers are not uploaded to the couriers website for up to 48 hours, if this is the case it is best to ring the courier company using the contact details on their website. If you still do not have a satisfactory outcome please send us an email.
Q: I have tracked my order on the couriers website and it was picked up many days ago and should have been delivered by now. Where is my order? A: It is best to give the courier a call as they may have left a calling card for the order to be re-delivered. If you are not satisfied with the outcome from contacting the courier company please send us an email.
Q: I ordered a hard drive but it looks like you have sent me a CPU. A: Sometimes we package smaller items in CPU, CD-ROM, and sound card boxes for extra protection. Chances are what you ordered is inside this box. If it isn't please let us know immediately by emailing us.
Q: Is my order insured if being delivered by courier? A: All orders are fully insured. |
